It's all in a name

Unfortunately, I've never been very good at naming things.

Nat suggested the blog title "something unexpected", which I liked, of course, as I imagined myself blogging about the wild and unpredictable twists that my life will take in the coming months.

But the website address with that name has already been taken (by some not-so-witty girl who blogs about how bored she is.... which should have made me reconsider how great the name was to start with).

Fortunately, the tactic of using a website address that actually deters people from checking it out - http://nosurpriseshere.blogspot.com - seems less common, as the address was free.

Hopefully the content of this blog will prove the title ironic.

Only time and honest friends will tell.
